UP to 160 stalls will be displaying their wares at the first Housing and Building Exhibition 2010 from February 5 to 8 at Tatmadaw Hall in Dagon township, according to its organiser, International Exhibition Management Service (IEMS) Company.
“As of January 19, 100 shops have already registered and the number should rise to 160 before the event. The booths display construction materials, paint, home appliances, furniture, electrical devices and kitchen wares,” said U Kyaw Thu Aung from IEMS.
He added that the four-day rental charges of 100 square-foot booths range from K300,000 to K600,000 depending on location.
U Kyaw Thu Aung added that IEMS was prompted to arrange the event by the growing interest in home decorating, as well as to reflect the company’s image.
Many companies in the construction and decoration fields are booked to participate in the fair.
