MYANMAR students hoping to study Doctoral and Masters degrees at universities in the United States are eligible to apply for Fulbright Scholarships, the US embassy in Yangon announced last month.
The Fulbright Science and Technology Scholarship program for the 2011-12 academic year will give full scholarship funding to students who are citizens and current residents of Myanmar and are seeking a Doctoral Degree in the science or technology fields.
The successful candidates will be enrolled for PhD study at top US universities in the fields of public health, agriculture, entomology, plant biology, plant pathology or soil science and environmental science or engineering, the embassy said in a statement last month.
