Uranium dance school offers scholarships

Uranium Dance School have announced a scholarship program to coincide with their 1st anniversary celebrated on January 18.

“We would like to let those people who are interested in dance get into the dance stream as we want to see more qualified dancers in the future. Some people have abilitity, creativity and an interest in dance but they cannot afford to go into the mainstream for a variety of reasons. So we would like to support them,” said Zayyar, dancer and spokesperson for Uranium dance group.

Interested parties can pick up an application form for the scholarship program at the dance studio located at 31(B) U Tun Myat Road, Tarmwe township. Application forms cost K2000. The application deadline is February 20.

Uranium will choose 200 applicants of which 50 will then have the opportunity to attend classes from Levels 1-6. The classes will take eight or nine months to complete.
