Iron Cross concert at Kandawgyi Park
Iron Cross has organised a rock concert for March 19 at Hmyaw Sin Island, Kandawgyi Park. Singers Lay Phyu, Ange, Myo Gyi, Wine Wine, Han Tun and Lin Lin will perform. Tickets are K5000, available at the Alpine head office and branches of Ko Ko Nyi Nyi beauty saloon and Man Thiri music production. The concert will start at 6pm.
Shwe Dine Nyunt anniversary music concert
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of late composer Shwe Dine Nyunt’s birthday, a concert will be held on March 20 and 21 at the National Theatre, starting at 6pm. The audience will be treated to a variety of classic and modern pieces by 42 singers, in addition to a traditional dance performance. Ticket prices range from K5000 to K20,000 and are available at La Pyat Wun plaza and branches of Ko Ko Nyi Nyi beauty saloon and Man Thiri music production.
Mr Myanmar Body Fitness contest
Mr Myanmar Body Fitness contest is open to entries. The first round will be held on March 20 and the second on April 10. Application forms are available at Plan B, FMI Centre, 4th Floor, Room 22/23. First prize is K150,000, second K100,000 and third K50,000. The closing date for applications is March 10. The contest will take place at YGN bar in the Yangon International Hotel compound at 10pm.
Performance art show at New Zero Art Space
Japanese artist Midori Kadokura and local artist Ma Ei will give a performance art show daily from 3-6pm between March 5 to 10 at New Zero Art Space, No.54 (1-E), Bo Yar Nyunt Street, 1st Floor. The show is entitled “Goal @ Inner Mind”.
