‘Robin Hood’ screening
Robin Hood is currently screening at Nay Pyi Taw cinema from August 13. The film stars Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett in a dark interpretation of the old English folk tale.
Solo art show
Artworks by Yahula (Min Kon) will be on display from August 25 to September 2 at Morekha Gallery.
Group art exhibit
Artists from New Treasure Art Gallery will hold an exhibition of their works at 84/A Than Lwin Street, Golden Valley, Bahan township. The show will run from September 4 to December 4. The exhibition will include 250 artworks by 60 artists, mostly landscapes, pagodas and portraits but also more contemporary artworks too.
Seven singers stage show
The National Stadium will on August 21 play hose to a concert by seven female singers. Organised by MRTV-4, the concert, which starts at 6:00pm, will feature the vocal talents of Htun Eain Dra Bo, Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein, Chan Chan, Sandi Myint Lwin, Nansuh Yati Soe, Ayethin Cho Swe and N Kai Ra. Musical accompaniment will be provided by Lazy Club. Tickets are between K7000, K10,000 and K15,000 and are available at branches of City Mart and Ocean Super Market.
