A study of abundance: major onshore and offshore oil and gas
fields in Myanmar
|
| As the demand for oil and gas soars,
Myanmar has been trying to catch up by exploring new areas and taking
a closer look at old fields. The government is also working together
with foreign oil companies to increase production of both oil and
gas. Here is an overview of the country’s major onshore and
offshore oil and gas fields. |
| |
A-1 and A-3 offshore gas fields
Operated by Daewoo, ONGC, GAIL and KOGAS.
Location: Offshore Rakhine State.

cubic feet (TCF).

expected to begin in 2009 or 2010.
