The association will also link the players up with football clubs from Asia and Europe, said the club managing-director.

“We want to be globally known through football. If these youth excel in football, it will also bring global recognition to our country. There is not a single Myanmar national playing in the Premier League, but people are watching it; if at least one Myanmar national is there, then I believe people will support it even more. The current coach here now used to be a Myanmar footballer from Arsenal. Lucky Home is assisting the training of children and young adults from 5 years old to 20. We are also linked with international clubs.

“They will be observing [the players]. When they arrive here, if they find any players that catch their eye, then there will be many opportunities opened. This November, coaches from Barcelona and AC Milan will come. Youth with financial difficulties can submit an application form to attend classes. We are already training 24 youth who have had financial difficulties.” Daw Thida San, managing-director of Lucky Home Futsal Soccer Club told The Myanmar Times.

From November 14 to 18, football coaches from Barcelona and AC Milan, will visit Lucky Home Futsal Footbal courts in Mandalay and Pyin Oo Lwin, to teach and train students, and also study and scout for potential players.

Club teams will be formed for players from age 14 to 18, and connections have been made with foreign clubs such as Indonesia, Canada, and Dubai (Arsenal) club carry out test matches.
