Calling all celeb look-alikes!

Plan B and Dagon Centre have once again combined their creative energies to present the Myanmar Celebrity Look-Alike competition, which will be held on June 22 to 24 at the Dagon Centre from 3pm to 6pm. The top four winners will receive K200,000, K150,000, K100,000 and K50,000 respectively.
Application forms are available at Plan B on the fourth floor of the FMI Centre until June 15.

Listeners to battle it out on the mic

City FM will host its ninth singing contest in the last week of July, sponsored by Laser World Co Ltd. Competitors will be expected to sing Pho Kar’s hit single “Stars” (Ta Saint Saint Kyit) to determine the station’s most talented listener. After auditioning at the City FM studio, the 10 finalists will compete for first place the IBC Hall on Pyay Road (Date to be confirmed).

Celebrity poetry at Mr Guitar

A poetry reading by local celebrities will take place at Mr Guitar on June 6 from 1pm to 4pm.
Poet Saw Wai, who is organising the day, said all proceeds will go to HIV/AIDS victims.
Celebrity participants will include Lwin Moe, Kyar Pauk, Ei Yupar Win, Wyne Su Kaing Thein and Naing Zaw.
