ATHLETES PARTICIPATE IN THE ANNUAL WASO Cane Ball Festival at Mahamuni Pagoda in Mandalay. The 41-day festival, which this year lasts from June 14 to July 23, will feature 1066 teams from around Myanmar performing from 9am to 11:30pm daily. Well-known Myanmar players will also show off their skills with solo performances.
