AIR Bagan offered its first international travel package to Thailand from June 29 to July 2, carrying 36 passengers on a tour that included Bangkok and Pattaya.

“The four-day, three-night tour included the flight between Yangon to Bangkok, as well as transportation between Bangkok and Pattaya,” said Ma Su from Air Bagan. “The tour also included visits to major sites in Bangkok like the Grand Palace, Emerald Pagoda and Erawan Shrine.”

The tours were also offered from July 6 to 9 and from July 19 to 22, with a fourth scheduled for July 27 to 30.

Space on the last tour – which costs US$310 per person including airfare, transportation, accommodation and guide services – can be reserved at Sun Far Travel, Columbus Travel, Treasure Travel and Saw Phorn Phan Travel.

Next month Air Bagan will offer four-day/three-night tours to Bangkok and Ayuthaya for $330 a person.
