Guitarist to release second manual
Guitarist Naing Zaw of Lazy Club will release a second guitar
manual under the title Secrets of The Scientific Era (Thait Pan
Khit Yae Thar Kaung Myar Lyo Whet Chat). The book focuses on how
to improve creativity and features a few of his own experiences
of writing music with famous musicians Htoo Aein Thin, Zaw Win
Htut and Doe Lone. The book, published by Mandalay Nagar, will
be on bookstore shelves in two months.
Hip-hop stars at The Strand
Hip-hop fans will get the chance to see two of Myanmar’s
biggest stars, Sai Sai and J Me, perform at the Strand Hotel ballroom
on August 12, along with 17 other artists, from 1 to 6pm. Tickets
can be purchased at Uncle Sam and KSL stores at FMI, Yankin Centre
and Dagon Centre and Conqueror at Labyaywun Plaza for K4500.
Six singers to release album
Six singers will release an album this month featuring punk,
pop and alternative music written by the youngsters themselves.
Ah Ye, Veno Hsu, Su Nit, Aron, Hein Zaw Lat and Ko Yae recorded
the album at Lin Studios and have titled it Kids’ Voices
(Char Teit Dae Pyaw Dae Kyun Dot A Kyaung).
Iron Cross to play at Hmyaw Sin Kyun for festival
Iron Cross will perform at Hmyaw Sin Kyun in October for the
Tha Din Kyut Festival. A schedule featuring dates and times will
be released at the beginning of October.
Kabyar Bwe Mu album out soon
Kabyar Bwe Mu’s sixth album, Like The Past (Ah Yin Lo),
will be on sale from August 9.
Distributed by Yadanar Myaing Music, the album features Myo Kyawt
Myaing, Pho Kar, L Lun War, Htoo Ae Lin and Me Me Girl. Twelve
out of 14 songs are originals. A VCD is expected to follow two
weeks after the album release.
Target's new CD
Ezy Records will release boy band Target’s solo album Far
From Flirting (Way Thwar Dae Mar Yar Myar) in September. It will
also feature duets with Yoe Lay and Thar Du.
