Cartoonist’s first solo exhibition

Cartoonist Ngwe Kyi will hold his first solo exhibition at the New Treasure Art Gallery until August 27.
All of the works are acrylic on canvas. The show will be open from 9am to 6pm daily at 84a Golden Valley Road in Bahan township.

Sai Sai to release second novel

Hip-hop star Sai Sai Kham Hlaing’s second novel, Drawing Art With Luck (Kan Go Swe Ywei Hmone Thi Chei Min Yay Kyai Ei Ma Kyai Ei), will be released next month. He said the story does not follow a plot or theme but is more of a collection of thoughts.

Dwe’s paintings to be on display

Moe Moe, wife of deceased actor Dwe, will display her husband’s 11 paintings on August 25 and 26.
The paintings will not be for sale and the venue is yet to be decided.

Songwriter to release short stories

Songwriter Ah Yoe has nearly finished his compilation of short stories, titled The Definition of Ah Yoe (A Yoe So Thee Hmar), and plans to release it in October.
The book will consist of 14 short stories with different storylines and themes.
