Local wins LCCIEB fellowship

By Zaw Winn

A CEREMONY was held on August 14 at Hotel Nikko Royal Lake to name a local employee of the British Council in Yangon as a Fellow of the London Chamber of Commerce, the first time the honour has been given to a Myanmar citizen.

U Kyaw Htin, the exam services manager at the British Council in Yangon, said the fellowship was given by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examinations Board (LCCIEB).

“I was informed in late July that I had been awarded the fellowship for my services in the area of business education,” he said, adding that his accomplishments were really the result of teamwork.
