The cover price of all products published by Myanmar Consolidated Media are being raised, effective immediately. The company said is a short statement that it had no choice but to lift its prices because of the rising costs of international quality newsprint.

This is the first cost increase for The Myanmar Times since July 2006.
Effective from this week the new cover prices will be:
The Myanmar Times – English Edition – K1200
The Myanmar Times – Myanmar Edition - K 750
The Crime Journal – K400
