INTERNATIONAL Theravada Buddhist Missionary University in Yangon’s Mayangone township will offer four-month foreign language courses at the university starting later this month, on a date to be determined by the number of applicants.

Anyone who has passed the matriculation examination or earned a bachelor’s degree is eligible to apply for one of the three language courses – English, German and Chinese – the university announced last week.

Classes will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 4pm and 6pm. The admission fee of K24,000 covers the whole course. No entrance exam will be held.
