Photo contests of kids extended

Calpol syrup has extended its deadline for entrance into its photo contest for children under the age of four from October 31 to November 30. Interested parties can submit photographs to MEGA offices located at 35B, New University Avenue Road, Bahan township, or No (15/5) 55th street, Mahar Aungmyay township, Yemon Taung, Mandalay. The winning shot will earn the photographer K200,000, while K100,000 will go to the child.

Shwe Generation art exhibition

A memorable art exhibition for artist Ko Shwe Oung Thame will be held at the Myanmar Traditional Artists and Artisans Organisation at 188-192 Bogyoke Aung San market from from 9am to 5pm, November 2 to 10. Around 60 paintings will be displayed from more than 50 artists’ works, including seven from the deceased artist.

Halloween thrills at Happy World

Expect some frightening events at the Kandaw-mingalar park Happy World from October 29, 30 and 31 to celebrate Halloween and the park’s 13 anniversary. Ghost magic shows, dance performances and live magic displays can be expected from the ghoulish hosts so don’t be afraid to come along and check it out.
