Responsibilities: Under the guidance and direct supervision
of the Deputy Resident Representative (Programme), the Assistant
Resident Representative (Programme, Policy Unit) is primarily
responsible for developing organizational and technical capacity
of the Policy Unit and providing substantive leadership in ensuring
full capacity utilization of the Unit.

at UNDP office, No. 6 Natmauk Road, Yangon.
Requirements : Education- Advanced university degree in economics,
development studies, social or political sciences.
Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ of extensive experience
in socio-economic and development manage-ment, research-based
studies, policy analysis of develop-ment issues, statistical techniques
in data and information management. Competency in writing high
quality analytical reports and capacity to present technical findings
and recommendations to non-technical professionals. Experi-ence
in monitoring and impact assessment of development interventions
will be an added advantage. Must possess excellent writing skills
and ability to communicate well-articulated ideas and knowledge
pieces to diverse groups of people from international and local
organizations and government.
Language requirements: Besides Myanmar, proficiency in English,
both written and spoken is an absolute requirement.
