Art exhibition

More than 150 oil paintings by Asian artists will be exhibited on the first floor of the Thamada Hotel between 9am and 5pm from December 25 to January 1. Prices range from FEC50 to FEC750 and discounts will apply. The exhibition has been arranged by the Art Lovers gallery in advance of its opening on the first floor of the Pearl Condominium on January 4.

Iron Cross and more

Iron Cross is performing in Mandalay on New Year’s Eve with Ah Nge, Myo Gyui, Wine Wine, Nau Naw, Sone Thin Par and Gyo Gar. The concert at Oriental House begins at 7pm. Tickets range from K12,000 to K17,000 and are available at Wine Chit Ko tea centre at 30, 72nd Street.

Join the party

Plan B is hosting a party for this year’s modelling industry graduates at Monsoon restaurant and bar on December 24. The party begins at 9pm. Tickets are K4000, including two cocktails and snacks, and are available from at the door. Plan B is also hosting a year end dance party at Monsoon on December 29, starting at 10pm. Tickets are K4000.

Concert in park

See in the New Year with Alex, Big Bag, The Ants and seven other bands at Hmyaw Sin Island in Kandawgyi Park on December 31. The action starts at 7pm. Tickets are K4000 and are on sale at Ko Ko beauty salons, Uncle Sam and Conquer.
