THE Myanmar Engineering Society held its annual general conference,
paper reading and technical products show from December 21 to
23 at its headquarters on the Hlaing campus of Yangon University,
said an official from the society.
The paper readings and product presentations helped participants
connect with other organisations and improve their own businesses,
he said.
The papers, which were presented on December 21 and 22, were
read by engineering experts, students and researchers who belonged
to the society as well as those from outside the organisation.
“More than 20 technical papers were presented, giving
participants the chance to share their knowledge,” the official
said.
The technical products show was open from 9am to 5pm on all
three days of the event and featured more than 50 booths showcasing
engineering products made domestically and abroad.
The general conference was held on December 23.
