Fund raiser

A stage show and football match to raise funds for victims of HIV/AIDS will be held at Bogyoke Aung San Stadium on January 12. The event is being organised by the 8th and 11th batch of MBA graduates from Yangon Institute of Economics. The stage show begins at 1pm and will feature about 30 singers. The football match, between players from teams which competed in the 1993 national championships, and some of the singers, will follow at 3pm. Tickets at K3500 are available at NOBODY, Uncle Sam (Yankin Centre), FMI, BAK, Ko Ko beauty salon (Dagon Centre) and Bogyoke Aung San Stadium.

Exhibition

The second 99 classic exhibition ends at the Thamada Hotel on January 8. The exhibition, is open from 9am to 5pm and features works in oil and acrylic by nine artists.


Tour de l’Art

Hla Tin Htun is holding his fourth Tour de L’Art exhibition on the first floor of the Thamada Hotel from January 17 to 21 between 9am and 5pm. About 50 works in water colours and oils will be exhibited.

Art and images

An exhibition of paintings and photographs titled Traveller 2007 ends at New Treasure Gallery on January 13. The exhibition is open from 9am to 5pm. The gallery is at 84A, Thanlwin Road, Bahan township.
