Free Show

Happy World is holding a free concert, featuring nine music stars, on January 19. Including Si Thu Lwin, L Lun Wah, Mee Mee Girl, Poe Kar and Ivory Band, the show starts at 6:30pm and finishes at 9:30pm. Happy World is located at the south entrance of Shwe Dagon Pagoda, Kantaw Mingalar Park.

International art exhibition

Professor at the College of Fine and Applied Arts in Belgrade, Ljiljana Stojanovicì is showing Of Town and Stars, at the Hinthar art gallery. An exhibition of graphic techniques, the gallery is located at No.42 Inya Myaing Road, Golden Valley, Bahan township. Showing from January 18 to 25, the show is organized through the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia.

Japanese Film Festival

Starting January 23, the Japanese film festival will be held in both Yangon and Mandalay and will feature three films. The films include the Myanmar subtitled Thway, Dora Heita and Kikujiro No Natsu. Tickets to the festival are available at the cinema. The times and dates are listed below.

Yangon – Thamada Cinema
Thway – Jan 23/26, 9am
Dora Heita –Jan 24, 6.30pm
Kikujiro No Natsu – Jan 25, 6.30pm
Mandalay –WinLite Cinema
Thway – Feb 25/28, 9am
