“I will travel to start my program on January 20. In this program I will try to present all the interesting places and islands of Myeik archipelagos, the Salone ethnic people, pearl production, the nest of the swift birds and also the historically famous buildings and places in Tanintharyi Division. ....

Well now that we have mainly changed to digital I think the young people of Myanmar are becoming more interested in photography. It is more accessible. I think it is very important for the next generation to keep catching the images of Myanmar to share with the world. Like they say, each photo speaks a thousand words. Therefore the more we have to show the world, the more people will understand Myanmar.

“we are very pleased to see that people enjoy our stations broadcasts. We tried our best this year and to not make any mistakes while promoting the musical talent of Myanmar.”

EIGHT-YEAR-old tiger Jarn wanders his enclosure, stopping from time to time to flirt with the photographer. Approaching the metal bars of his world, the photographer apprehensively reels backwards.

“Some artists introduced new media but I didn’t see anything outstanding this year. The art market was average this year so many artists, including myself, did not dare to exhibit solo. As there were fewer tourists than usual, most of the art galleries didn’t work well,”
