Hip Hop Gold

MYANMAR hip hop stars Sai Sai Kham Hlaing, J-Me, Ya Tha, Ye Lay, Kyet Pha are going to blow up at the Gold Hip Hop Festival. To be held at the Yuzana Garden Hotel on March 2 from 6pm, the event is organised by Bo Bo Enterprise. Cartoon skills

FIVE cartoonists, U Shwe Minn Thar, U A Kaine, U Shwe Win, U Nge Win and U Aung Min Min, will exhibit their best stash of cartoons — some of them have been exhibited overseas — at a group exhibition to be held from February 28 to March 5. It will be open daily from 9am to 5pm at the Myanmar Traditional Artists and Artisans organisation in Bogyoke Aung San Market.

Fill that space

A new art gallery, SPACE, aims to fill any wall space in your home from their range of famous Myanmar artists’ works. Located in Parami Housing on Kaba Aye Pagoda road, Mayangone township, the gallery is open seven days a week and features weekend and weekday art classes for children to help nurture their skill and interest in art. Opened last weekend, feel free to drop by anytime and have a look for that new piece of art for your home.
