ONLINE exam testing centre, Myanmar Inspirations Company, has
won a 2007 Prometric Channel excellence award, the company’s
chief information officer said.
“We were informed on February 5 that we took second prize
in the Emerald category,” U Hla Myo Htun said.
“Awards were chosen based on the number of test takers,
their satisfaction with the service of test centre and the test
centre administrator’s knowledge and compliance on the security
of the exams,” U Hla Myo Htun said.
Myanmar Inspirations tests for IT proficiency in software programs
from companies such as Microsoft and Adobe.
The company lost out to APIIT KL from Malaysia for first place
in the Emerald category, while Ceylinco Netassist Pty Ltd from
Sri Lanka took third place.
Prometric introduced the first Southeast Asia Channel excellence
awards program in September 2007, awarding the best test centres
from Southeast Asia and beyond, including Pakistan, Sri Lanka,
Bangladesh and Nepal.
There are four categories of awards – Diamond, Emerald,
Ruby and Sapphire.
“Prizes will be presented at the Prometric Southeast Asia
Channel Partner summit, which will be held in Malaysia on February
26 and 27,” U Hla Myo Htun said.
