MYANMAR Pharmaceuticals and Medial Equipment Entrepreneurs’
Association will attend the Asia Health Care 2008 trade fair,
to be held in Malaysia in March.
The 2008 regional business event on pharmaceuticals and natural
products, which will be held from March 10 to 12 in Kuala Lumpur,
will be attended by six to eight association representatives.
“The event will be participated by six or eight companies
representing the association,” said Dr Win Si Thu, Chairman
of Union of Myanmar Pharmaceuticals and Medial Equipment Entrepreneurs’
Association.
The event aims to improve the availability of and access to
essential medicines in South and Southeast Asia by increasing
regional trade, investment, cooperation and exchange of expenses.
Organised by the International Trade Centre in cooperation with
Malaysia External Trade Development, the meeting is expected to
attract about 100 import and export companies, agents, distributors
and service providers from China, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and
ASEAN.
The event, which will take place in the MATRADE Exhibition and
Convention Centre, is expected to create regional trade opportunities
worth US$13 billion.
