AN import-export company has opened a health clinic at Okpo township in Bago Division to provide free treatment for needy people.

The clinic, opened by the Theikdiwin Co., Ltd, on January 27 and being run with help from a local doctor, provides treatment and medicines for patients suffering from minor ailments and will refer those with serious health problems to government hospitals.

The company renovated a room last December to house the clinic, which is open on weekdays between 9am and noon.
