Myanmar films show in LA

The first Myanmar film show and photo exhibition to be held in Los Angeles will start on August 9 and 10 respectively. Two famous Myanmar films entitled Kyan Sit Minn (King Kyan Sit) directed by actor-cum-director Lu Minn and Lhoatwhetthaw Hnin (Secret Snow) by Sin Yaw Maung Maung will be shown with English subtitles.
A photo exhibition entitled In Buddha Land by photographer Moe Min (Rays) will also show. The exhibition will include various landscapes and images of temples the photographer has shot over the years.

Mr and Ms Bollywood stars contest

If you think you can dress up and look like Bollywood stars then why not participate in the fifth Bollywood stars contest, to be held at FMI shopping centre on August 23. The semi-final and final will be held on August 24.
If you’re interested in hair styling and Indian traditional dress fill out an application form and send it to Plan B promotion, FMI Center (fourth floor), No-380, Bogyoke Aung San Street, Room 22, 23 not later than 12 noon, on August 16.

Black Hole’s album out now

Byuhar, Nay Ma Win, Yar Za Win and Kar Yan Hein’s first album entitled Ahpay (Father) is out now available on CD, VCD and tape.
