Min Thein Kha, who was also a well-known writer, passed away on August 1 at the age of 70 at the private Thukha Kabar Hospital in Kamaryut township. He was suffering from multiple ailments, including heart disease, hypertension and diabetes.
 
“They cannot be accepted at old people’s homes because acceptance is conditional upon having no family to support them, and some of my grannies have children who have moved away and could no longer send money to them.”
 
Lubricants have risen in price along with all oil-based products as world petroleum prices have soared. Customers have responded both by buying fewer lubricants, and by switching to cheaper brands that are less effective, say trade sources.
 
Advertising expenditures broken down show that television ads cost about US$10.3 million; journals earned about $4.4 million; magazine raked in $1.5 million; newspaper advertisements earned about $1.4 million; and outdoor advertising amounted to $1.3 million.
