THE Embassy of Japan, in collaboration with the Japan foundation,
will host an animation seminar on September 19, according to the
press release of the Embassy of Japan.
A lecture on animation will be conducted by Mr Takamasa Sakurai
will be accompanied by a second lecture by a media contents producer
that will be conducted in Japanese and translated to Myanmar.
Both lectures will focus on the universal appeal that Japanese
animated movies – anime – have and how they appeal
to so many different people. It will be accompanied by a slide
show. Anyone who is interested in Japan’s pop culture and
animation should attend the seminar and learn from the lectures
that will be held at the Grand Ballroom, Chatrium Hotel, at 40
Natmauk Road, Yangon.
