BEFORE he switches to life as a monk, actor Kyaw Hein, 61, will
embark on a tour around Myanmar to meet and perform for people.
The trip will start on September 5 and continue until October
31.
Kyaw Hein said “I want to see the audiences who have been
watching my films, my benefactors. I want to greet them warmly.
We will start in Yangon on September 5 and pass through the townships
along the Yangon – Pyay highway road, such as Tike Kyi,
Oak Kan, Thone Sal. We will stop at Magway to entertain the people
with singing before resuming the trip on September 7 to pass through
Bago, Mandalay Division and Shan State. After that, we will return
to Yangon along the Mandalay – Yangon highway.”
The actor will be accompanied by daughter Khin Khin Kha, son
Nay Win and two musicians: Oscar and Patrick.
Sponsorship is being provided by Premier Coffee, Cherry Oo Watch
& Clock and Event Master.
Actor Kyaw Hein declared in July his intention to end his successful
film career, which has spanned 40 years, to become a monk with
the aim of helping people who have psychological problems.
Since declaring his intention to help those in need, the actor
has received many requests from people around the country asking
him to share his knowledge on easing mental suffering. The services
of the future monk are in such high demand that his calendar is
fully booked up until Ta Paung (Full moon day), which falls in
March.
