A DOMESTIC IT company, Information Technology Central Services, said last week that it is planning to offer call centre services, a first in Myanmar, and expects to start operations within four months.
A spokesperson for the company said a number of services – including enquiry replying, customer services, telemarketing and help desk services – will be offered to clients from different business sectors.
“We’re now finding a place to set up a call centre and planning to recruit employees for the call centre at the end of this month. We expect to start within four months after training the staff,” he said.
He added that the call centre would also provide other services, such as accepting bookings and settling complaints, with a one-year contract. Clients could connect with the call centre by computer.
“We’ll charge only our clients. The customers of our clients don’t need to pay extra for calling the centre,” he said.
He added that the call centre, which will have more than 100 staff, will offer 24-hour service and it will first set up in Yangon. If the project is expanded, there are plans to move into Yadanabon cyber city located in Mandalay Division.
