Introduction
UN-HABITAT with the support received from Govt. of Japan, has designed The Community Water Supply and Sanitation Recovery Project as part of the post- Tropical cyclone Nargis recovery activities in the delta zone of Union of Myanmar with a goal to improve the health of families by providing access to safe water and adequate sanitation facilities, while raising awareness of hygiene and health related issues. The main geographic focus of the project will be in the delta zone; Bogale, Dedaye, Pyapon, Kungyangone and a secondary focus on Kyaiklat. The UN-HABITAT "Peoples' Process" method will support and facilitate the communities to play the major role in prioritising needs, and project implementation of all activities with total engagement and empowerment of the selected communities. Currently UN-HABITAT, Myanmar is looking for suitable candidates for below positions:
1. National Technical Advisor
(SC-9) - 1 position (Yangon)
2. National Information Manager
(SC-8)- 1 position (Yangon)
3. Area WASH Coordinator
(SC-7) -1 position (Yangon 40%/Pyapon-Delta 60%)
4. Township WASH Coordinator
(SC-5) - 4 positions (Bogale, Pyapon + Kyaiklat, Dedaye and Kungyangone)
5. IEC assistant, Health and Hygiene
(SC-4) - 1 position (Yangon)
6. Mapping and GIS Assistant
(SC-4) - 1 position (Yangon)
7. Web Design and Database Assistant
(SC-4)- 1 position (Yangon)
8. Finance and Logistic Assistants
(SC-4) - 4 Positions (For Bogale, Pyapon+Kyaiklat, Dedaye and Kungyangone)
9.WASH Technicians
(SSA) - 5 positions (Bogale,Pya pon, Kyaiklat, Dedaye and Kungyangone)
