THE Myanmar Agro-Based Food Processors and Exporters Association will hold its first Myanmar Food Exhibition from June 26 to 28 at Tatmadaw Hall on U Wisara Road in Yangon.
U Tin Maung Win, chairman of the association’s Information Management Board, said the exhibition was aimed at allowing the public to see a wide range of Myanmar agricultural products in one place, helping businessmen make contacts and expand their markets, and raising the standard of local agricultural products.
“The exhibition will be open from 9am to 5pm daily, and we also plan to give awards for the best product displays,” he said.
He said the exhibition will feature 188 booths showing various agricultural products, such as flour products, rice, beans, coffee and alcohol. He said anyone interested in participating in the exhibition can contact the association no later than June 6, at (95-1) 214-830, 214-832 or 214-846.
