“You have to decide what kind of people you want to target such as children, adults, women or men. We can give knowledge to people through cartoons, photographs, poems and articles. Such works are like illuminating candles; they can spread out one to another.”

“The Filipino audience is not ready for this kind of material. I have to accept that most of my films are not being watched in the Philippines. They are used to Hollywood and the commercial movies,”

“I only feel boycotting a country is no solution. Moreover my film is based on the subject of Indians being attacked in Australia so obviously my film has to be shot in Australia.”
“To make the fish scales odourless we first need to keep them in water overnight with some detergent. We clean them with water and dry them with soft fabric. We can’t dry them under the sun because the heat damages them. To dye them we use basic clothing dye mixed with warm water. After that you cut the design you want and glue the pieces,”

With the wall now protected with a special undercoat, many of the original artists from around the world are returning to re-do their paintings in time for celebrations marking 20 years since the fall of the Wall on November 9.

KHANT Phyo has been making music since he was 18, and before he left Myanmar in February 2008 to go and study in Australia, he released the song Myauk Phyit Chin Tal (Want to be a Monkey) on the group album “Bar Lar Lar” (Whatever). Unfortunately he missed being here to witness the success of the song, but has plans to return with some new songs after his studies have finished. Timeout got in contact with the singer and drummer using online chat.
