The Junction Nay Pyi Taw shopping and entertainment centre will include a mini theatre, say its developers.

SHWE TAUNG Development Construction will open it’s Junction Nay Pyi Taw shopping complex in the third week of July, said Daw Phyu Phyu Soe, the company’s deputy general manager of construction.

Junction Nay Pyi Taw shopping centre covers 62,250 square feet and has two storeys that will include a supermarket, restaurants, an internet café, game centre, beauty salon, playground, mini-theatre and clothing shops.

“Junction Nay Pyi Taw is our company’s third shopping complex and will be the first to have a mini-theatre included within it,” she said.

“The decorations in the cinema are very modern and should appeal to all film lovers coming to watch,” she said.

“We’re also using an electronic ticketing system that will let viewers use a touchscreen to select which seat they want,” she said.

Junction Nay Pyi Taw is conveniently located near the hotel zone, with banking and other shopping options nearby, including the Thapyay kone market.
