Technomation Studios’ newest offering for mobile telephones is a telephone directory to help users find the names, addresses and telephone numbers of businesses.

MOBILE phone users will now have the option to search 350,000 business listings on their handsets.

Software company Technomation Studios released its “Yellow Mobile” program on July 15 for K7500 a copy. It will allow users to search for telephone numbers, company names and addresses through their phones.

U Htoo Myint Naung, the company’s chief executive officer, said the program is aimed at businesspeople and was developed using the Myanmar Industrial and Commercial Directory 2009 published by Novel Light Media.

“We got the idea to develop this mobile directory software when we were developing our “Defined-e” program, which has a number of physical similarities when you look at the books: They’re both quite thick and have plenty of information contained within,” he said.

The program includes addresses, phone numbers, types of businesses, company names as well as important phone numbers, area and country codes. Users can search by company name or brand name and will be able to dial directly from the directory, he said.
