“Cold, rainy days make it difficult to get out of bed so my desire at this time is to be with books. I love reading fiction the most but in book shops we can only find old fiction books that have been republished several times,”
 
The film was shot on a sandbank that hosts two families. Although the families get on at first, over time their relationship sours as household items begin to go missing and the families realise that they both crave the same possession: an old black and white TV for sale in the local pawn shop.
 
YANGON Orchestra cellist Saw James Hsar Doe left home in 2008 for Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music at the National University of Singapore to hone his skills. On August 1 the 23-year-old jetted back home to Myanmar for an unplugged performance with legendary band Iron Cross and the AOC orchestra.

“If there are any publications aimed at destroying Iraqi society using notions of sectarianism or other destructive ideas, the government’s cultural agencies should address them by releasing their own publications and books calling for co-existence and citizenship,”
 
But the experiment — which it plans to stage with music next month — is proving a challenge, with some distinctly oddball contributions and confusion over how exactly to put them together.
