The United States chargé d’affaires, Mr Larry Dinger, talks to The Myanmar Times’ Gabrielle Paluch about US-Myanmar relations.
 
“Mandalay has received 26.85 inches to October 29, below its yearly average of 32.0 inches. Magway recorded slightly above-average rainfall – 31.42 so far compared to 31.05 inches on average – while Bago is a bit down, at 114.21 inches compared to an annual average of 130.22 inches,”

The Saydanarmaung Swannlaung Ahthin volunteer group employed elephant dancers, made popular by the annual elephant dance festival at the Mandalay Division town of Kyaukse, to encourage the residents of East Dagon township to donate.
 
“We were both surprised by the discovery, and very impressed by the old cemetery. She visited [Myanmar] several more times in subsequent years, as well as other countries including England, Australia, South Africa, Israel, and India to track down and interview former members of the community and their families to reconstitute the history, culture and every day life of Myanmar’s former Jewish community,”

The house is about eight years old and it shows – the exterior paint is faded and mould has taken root underneath the corrugated iron roof. But structurally the house is fine and a new coat of paint would transform the exterior completely.
 
“I love it, it’s really great. In this workshop, I want to be open to all and create things using the artists’ own ideas. I’ll help them and show them what I do and the technology. I really want to see the ideas of Myanmar people,”
 
Ju Jue K, 22 years old, has won many “Miss” fashion competitions, which have become popular in Myanmar. Recently she won the Miss ICT competition that was held on October 15 at Tatmadaw Hall. This is her third win of a “Miss” title and add to her numerous runner-up awards and wins from other competitions. Timeout caught up with Ju Jue K to discuss her feelings and future plans.
“I kept reminding myself that I should not be afraid of Tway Ma Shaung but that I also had to keep my eyes open to what he was doing,” Par Wee said. “Anyhow, I am happy that I could draw with Tway Ma Shaung because he is regarded as the most perfect boxer in Myanmar.”
